So, Finally Im here. Well I´ve been here already a week, but have been pretty busy organising the basic life in our new apartment.

Lets put some WIKI information about the town here 🙂

Cardiff ⁱ/ˈkɑrdɪf/ (Welsh: Caerdydd (info) [kairˈdiːð, kaˑɨrˈdɨːð]) is the capital and largest city in Wales and the ninth largest city in the United Kingdom.^[1] The city is the country’s chief commercial centre, the base for most national cultural and sporting institutions, the Welsh national media, and the seat of the National Assembly for Wales. Theunitary authority area‘s mid-2011 population was estimated to be 346,100, while the population of the Larger Urban Zone was estimated at 861,400 in 2009. Cardiff is a significant tourist centre and the most popular visitor destination in Wales with 18.3 million visitors in 2010.^[2] In 2011, Cardiff was ranked sixth in the world in National Geographic’s alternative tourist destinations.^[3]

So the town is pretty decent size, but it doesn’t feel that big. Lots of cool parks around, sea, rivers and reservoirs.

I´ve also started contacting branding agencies just to get my work shown, trying to network as much as possible. I found a local Coffeeshop, frame/print studio and one cool photographer from Chile 😀

I don’t have yet Internet connection, and I really hope I get one soon. I´ve been using internet from Nicky´s Coffee place so far, and also pretty crappy O2 mobile data.

Next week I will start contacting more people, want to check out also the local teaching side of photography Chapter, and some other schools of art and photography. Maybe I can get into those and keep a short course of what I do best, composite photographies with stories.

I have almost all my photography gear here now. Got my new flashes up and ready to make pretty much any shoot. I will have a blog of my gear here later on.
