Well now to the second post of the Cardiff Film & Comic Con 2014. You can read the first post here.

So while in the event I decided also to approach the guest stars. Since I had the press pass, I queued with the others and then asked kindly if I could take their portraits. “Hi my name is Antti and I’m from Finland” was pretty much my opening line 😀 Keeping in mind that I had my gear in a back bag and a flash more or less attached to my head, the immediate response was a stare (“is this guy serious?”), a smile (“that sure looks silly”) and a yes (“well, why not”). So, in addition to the advantage of having a portable light source with me, my set up sparked some amused expressions as well!

The only thing left for me to do was to catch a glimpse of their character “on film”, get back home and retouch the images to make a unified look to the series. I’m happy with the results and happy meeting all these nice dudes/dames… Famous or not, they all were laid back and friendly even to a goofball like me!  Cardiff Film & Comic Con will be back in March, so maybe I will be there again. And if I go, I will definitely be in cosplay too!
