Fuji X-T2 experiences

Lets be honest, I have not been a huge fan of mirrorless cameras. I have tried some Leicas and Olympus mirrorless cameras but I was not that keen to switch from Canon DSLR into any other type or brand. Then I got my hands on Fuji X-T2 and the first time I looked through that EVF I was pretty much sold. I really cannot describe what happened and why, but from that moment on I was pretty much solid on having a good EVF on my camera. It kind of changed the way I shoot. I don’t need to chimp the camera to see the results and now I can see what Im doing also in the broad daylight.

And with Fuji X-T2 that was not the only thing. I was really surprised by the sharpness and the dynamic range of the images, plus the sturdy retro look and feel of the camera, and not to forget one of the fastest AF I´ve seen. Especially when trying to focus on a moving subject.

My X-T2 has been now with me everywhere. I have shot already many projects in studio, used it on my vacation and work trips, workshops and also took some video also with the camera. Still rather impressed of the quality of the images it produces. The sharpness in the images X-trans sensor produces is somewhat different what I usually seen on my DSLR cameras. It is hard to explain, but images are really really sharp.  16-55 f.2.8 lens has been pretty much glued on the camera, since I can do pretty much all my style work with those focal lengths. Although I would not mind having one faster lens for certain type projects but lets look into that bit later.

And as Im turning into “Fuji side” of the force, Im even more exited to get my hands on that GFX 50s some day, a medium format beast that might be THE perfect camera for my work in the future. Really much looking forward being a part of Fuji family as their ambassador here in Finland. We will see where this path will take us.

I will attach here some latest images I have made with Fuji X-T2. Not your typical street photography 😀

It looks like you should tell us more about your experience in Photoshop since the camera has little to do with these images.

😀 definitely entitled for that oppinion that It is all photoshop and not photography at all. This is my way of doing images and lighting and photographs are important part of that process. It is not for all .. but this is what I do.
