My friend Iina (Mae-Rye Cosplay) is just an amazing talent when it comes to costumes. Since I’m a Westworld tv-show fan and Iina has similar features as the actor Evan Rachel Woods we ventured together into the world of Westworld. She made this amazing Dolores Season 1 costume and I put my time into creating some stories around my images of her. Just take a look of her amazing costume and similar features as the real Dolores in the series.
For some the backgrounds I used Adobe Stock images, but I also explored some ideas to use Unreal Engine to find out nice backgrounds for my own personal projects. The Unreal Engine is a game engine developed by Epic Games, first showcased in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal. Although primarily developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of other genres, including stealth, fighting games, MMORPGs, and other RPGs.
You can find plenty of amazing detailed commercial scenes from the Marketplace and then just use the 3D engine roam the environment, choose the right angles, set up cameras the way you want and then just render a high res screen capture from the view. I’m using these only on my personal non-commercial projects to explore new ways of doing things. I had all my backgrounds rendered before the photoshoot, so it was easy to shoot the right angles of Dolores and then put the images together in Photoshop.

Here are few rendered backdrops that I used as a base to build my images adding lights, shadows, textures etc. and the view from the Unreal engine
